As a kid when I 1st met Lanta, I asked him if he was Indian, he shook his head no and said he was Sri Lankan. When I told my mom, she told me 2 stay away from him, but I was 2 young 2 understand y. But kids alway do the opposite of what parents tell 'em 2 do and I was no different. I almost gave my parents heart attacks in 2002 when I told 'em I was goin' 2 SL with Lanta and his family 4 a few weeks.

I gotta say tho, SL was mad different than what I thought it was gonna be. Other than the constant heat it was the most beautiful place I ever seen. At 1st I was like WTF cause the toilet was so different(when I 1st seen it, I didn't even know it WAS a toilet, u couldn't sit on it and there wasn't no TP 2 wipe ur ass with) zapitos, no western style toilets, so his aunt had 2 tells me how 2 use it. All 11 of us had 2 share1 shower ( I was also surprised by how the shower looked, cause I ain't never seen a shower like that in my life, it was just a stall with a faucet jawn, a small chair and a bucket, no curtain or bathtub, so again I had 2 be told how 2 use it). The food was also strange, but I had 2 gets used 2 it, cause there wasn't no American foods. And they only had electricity 4 a few hours a day.It was triflin' 4 my man too, since he was born and raised in US, he wasn't used 2 that shitand had 2 be told how 2 use things too, but in about a week we got used 2 everything and started 2notice the peace andbeauty of the place. I realized how much I take 4 granted livin' in the US (like electricity and water 24/7).

My mans relatives like 2 say they live in Hill City, but they really live20 milesoutside Hill City in thecountryside. I don't get it, thats like sayin' u lives in Bombay when u really lives in a small villageOUTSIDE of Bombay. 1 night Lanta done asked me 2 takes the flashlight jawn and go out 2 the ride 2 get his cell and camera.It was pretty late, about 11 at night, so I was like oh no, hell no, there wasn't no way my ass was goin' out there at that time, cause in the countryside when it gets dark, it REALLY gets dark. It was pitch black outside and I couldn't see shit. The ride was parked about 80 feet from the crib and I didn't know what was out there, there coulda been wild animals waitin' 2 eat me up, or the LTTE which woulda been much worse. So we went out together and got his shit. When I think 'bout that trip the 1 thing that stands out the mostwas the heat. T'zahn and I used think Miami was hot, but Miami ain't nuthin' compared 2 SL. Before we left my man told me 2 packs mad sunscreen lotion and sunglasses, I soon found out y, the sun in SL ain't no joke, its strong as fuck. Thats y everybody in SL is so dark,2 protect'em from the sun.

Late at night after everybody went 2 sleep, Lanta would sneak into my room and lay down next 2 me, sounds cute, but I knew where that was goin' and I straight up told him 2 get somewhere, cause there wasn't no way in hell he was gonna getpunaniin all that heat. Now ya'll might be wonderin' yI would wanna pass upthat mandingo, but iss 2 reasons y. 1st of all, I was just too damn uncomfortable with the heat. 2nd even if I was in the mood the air was sohot and still thatthecharacteristic smell u getright after nookiewould probably wake everybody up and stay in the room 4 several hours, cause ya'll know how the heat and humidity tends 2 make things smellworse, theneverybody wouldknow what went downin that roomand it would cause too much embarrassment. But less than a week later I was jonesin' 4 that bone like u won't believe, so we went pretty deep into the jungle (which is something his parents told us not 2 do) and decided 2 brave thewild animals and the LTTE, just so we could be able 2 get our freak on without nobody around 2 smell it. And I gotta say it felt better than ever and myman was maxin' so much he didn't even remember 2 pon the vest. So from then on whenever wegoes2 SL, we gots our own little spot in the jungle2 bust whatever we feels like (that is if we don't run into no animals, LTTE members).1 love.
